"The Games?" I repeat in disbelief, "are run by humans?"

Phantom nods, "the werewolves watch it every year. Except they don't participate. They know we wolves are fascinated by it and they like to see if we will put it a shifter so they can see the identity of the shifter for their use to defeat us."

"How would they know if it was a shifter or not?" I question.

"They can tell by the way it acts during the games. Obviously wolf instincts will come out when they have to survive for three weeks in the wild," Phantom says grimly.

"And why are you telling me this?" I ask.

"Because your going to be entered in The Games."
