Lauren had lost her way , she had lost herself , she had lost the people she cared about , but among all she had lost the ability to feel. Sleeping around with strangers was the closest thing she could get to actually feeling something but even that wasn't enough for her. The drugs , the alcohol and sex gave her enough of a high to fill in all the empty spaces left inside and she wasn't prepared to throw that away for nothing. She had a problem but failing to admit it was where she went wrong in the first place. She made sure that there wasn't a minute her body went by without feeling the pure bliss of being filled with booze or drugs that she had found herself spiralling down into a depth that nobody could pull her out of.
