Unable to have a child, feeling lonely and upset, a couple decided the best thing for them was to adopt a baby girl, so they did and welcomed their newest 6 year old daughter, Kimi into the family. They had a very pleasant 3 years together, and when they honestly thought it couldn't get any better, it did! When Kimi turned 9 years old, the couple found out they were having their own child! They were overjoyed and so was Kimi to have a sister. When Brianna was born, everything was as normal, in fact it was great. Kimi never felt out of place, they always made her feel like she was part of the family. 

Until she turned 18, when she mysteriously disappeared.
