CURRENTLY EDITING What is they say about curiosity? It killed the cat? Well, in this case, curiosity almost kills the Carter. Several times. Carter Conners was a magnet for trouble, if she didn't actively seek it, then it would probably find her one way or another. It was a miracle she hadn't been arrested. But that didn't matter, because she still managed to find herself with a one-way ticket to a planet that had been marinating in radiation for 97 years. Now just throw in some uncontrollable delinquents, a tyrant with a track record of an asshole, and a few native inhabitants of Earth that want them dead and what do you have? Chaos. You have utter chaos. Maybe a little anarchy too. And just when Carter thought it couldn't get any worse, it did, because this was her. Living on a space station after the nuclear end of the world, Freya didn't have many places to go, and from then on, the Blakes became her refuge, and after spending years escaping to their home, she moved in. She and Bellamy were inseparable, and she loved his mother, and his illegally hidden little sister, Octavia, just like they were her own, and relished in the feeling of finally having a family - of feeling safe and loved. But everything fell apart when Bellamy's well-intended plan to give Octavia a taste of freedom backfired. Octavia was imprisoned and sentenced to death, and Aurora was floated into space for breaking the Ark's strict population law of only having a single child. Freya couldn't forgive Bellamy for the consequences, and their once-strong bond shattered. Their friendship turned into avoidance and resentment, with both cutting all contact. When Octavia, along with 99 other teenaged prisoners awaiting their death sentence, was scheduled to be sent to Earth in a desperate attempt to save humanity, with the Ark's dwindling life-support threatening its survival yet again, everything changes. Determined to protect her against the unknown, Bellamy and Freya both sneak onto the dropship, forcing them to confront their fractured relationship in the harsh realities of a new world. Ever heard the saying," Curiosity killed the cat..."? Well these three teenagers haven't. After spending a day at school one of the three friends, Melanie, discovered a dark mysterious society lost from human connection. After telling the remainder of her friends, Shay and Honor, their curiosity took the best of them. They set out to find this "society" having already in mind that it didn't exist. But to their misfortune they find out ....."Eclipse" is still very much alive. Now with only a week to survive they try to escape by playing a game. As time almost ends Honor questions the idea of leaving and living. If he leaves something bad happens but if he stays their is a strong possibility that he will die knowing the whole "Truth". I glanced down the streets leading away from this treacherous town, wondering what it would be like to start over, how easy it would be to run away; settling on that thought I turned and began following the road that led out, aching for just a taste of something new, even if that meant I turned around and went back after. Soon my curiosity took over as my eyes trailed a mysterious trail twisted out of my view, I smiled, gripped my backpack, and headed down the trail. And just like that, my taste of a new life became more then I could chew as I uncovered secrets, and broke into places I was not suppose to be. Soon I got myself so deep I couldn't just turn and go back, now I have to fight for my life and struggle to break free of the monstrous people I had provoked.
