This is another short story I wrote while I was in a writing club. This is about a shot gun wedding, I got the idea from watching an episode from "The Simpsons". This is the perspective of the women being forced into it a marriage . Enjoy!

All Lies Tell a Truth
(This was story I made years ago and no longer have the inspiration to continue, I am sorry.) My parents weren't exactly the ideal role models in my life. Heck, they were barely in it to begin with. Killed each other with a hand gun, at least that's what's the news papers presented. It was the news of the year. Mother and father stayed true to their vows, until death do they part. Killed each other so they could live somewhere else in peace. Unwilling for their unborn child to see the light of day, and dismissing there 13 year old daughter into the foster care. Quite a story right? It was the talk of everything whilst I suffered in the foster care system. Seeing couples adopt child after child, only to destroy their relationship anyways. A few people were kind, gave you hope for a new life, then tore it away. But I ended up finding some strange things out when I moved to the states.Complete

Honor Aside
Despite being raised in Canada, I was expected to have an arranged marriage before I became "too old" for the people in my family's religious community to view me as a potential bride. I grew up thinking that an arranged marriage within my religious community would be my future. When the time came for my sister to get married, I could do nothing but watch as she was forced to marry a distant relative overseas and become trapped in a miserable situation. As I got older, I realized that I needed to take drastic action to avoid the same fate as all the women in my family before me. They had been stifled and traumatized, and they chafed under society's expectations. However, they could do nothing but rely on religion and repeat the cycle of marriage-kids-marriage. Having failed to convince my parents that I needed to have other options, I left. This is the story of how I decided that things needed to change. This is how I took charge of my future.Complete

This is my story to "you". This is a story about loving someone so much and after all else you don't always get the happily ever after that you always want. No matter the fighting and clinging towards this love. Sometimes the only thing you have left is the memories. This became a story for me to heal my wounds and grow into the woman I am now. Hannah Simpson; an 18 year old girl who isn't so much for the proposition of marrying some childhood friend because she wants to find someone for herself, she doesn't want to fall in love because of her parents. As much as Hannah is against the idea she has no clue who her fiancé is but according to her parents she has known him a long time. Imagine the surprise she gets when he is her teacher too. She is now being made to marry her teacher; there has got to be something against that, right? A/N - Hey guys, this is a re-write of my previous arranged marriage book so I really hope you like this.
