Riley Matthews is a junior at John Quincy Adams. She is, as her friends likes to call her, a ray of sunshine. Riley is a open book at some point and others, she is a closed book whom no one can read. Riley looks up to only two people, her parents - Cory and Topanga Matthews. Their life story was Riley's goodnight story's as a kid. She has never used a person and she tries her best to not hurt anyone. But, to be able to not hurt anyone she always puts her feelings aside. But putting feelings aside is never hard when you're insecure about them, having a feeling that they aren't important.
Lucas Friar is a new junior student at John Quincy Adams. He is, and has always been, the biggest bad boy from Austin Texas with girl throwing themselves at him. He, of course, uses them as tissue - use it once and throws it. But in everyones eyes he is Mr. Perfect Bad Boy, no matter what. He is a closed book whom no one has ever been able to read except his one best friend who is stuck in Texas while Lucas and his dad takes the first flight to New York.
