BASED ON TRUE EVENTS AND LIVES 

Some scientists say that 1978 was the last year the world had it good. 
For the Castillo brothers, that couldn't be any truer. After 1978, their worlds went downhill almost instantly. Before you see how the boys have torn apart and had forks driven between them, you must first see how they got themselves into these situations and see the full picture of the lives affected by their young mistakes.

Susan is a fifteen-year-old girl who's going nowhere fast, she is stuck in the pitiful dumps of her teen years until she meets Alejandro and suddenly, whether she knows it or not, her life will never be normal again. 

Alejandro is hot-headed, with a passion to box, but at the same time he's calm and collected, laughs easily and has a huge heart. Everyone around him knows he will be the first person to go professional as a boxing superstar,  and soon enough he plans on giving Susan the life she deserves. 

But one way or another, his Susana will be his undoing.

That was really my only problem with moving because I don't have any friends here, it's not like people haven't tried I just don't like getting to close to people. Although my family still doesn't know about my street fighting, we still are very close after what happened with my father. They left but I know they will come back and finish what they started and that's why I started street fighting. I need to be able to protect me and my family when they do come back. I'm not letting my family get hurt this time.
