Something isn't right about Jayson Roger's life.
Maybe it's that his mom sent him away to live with his uncle with no explanation. Maybe it's that his old teacher locked him in a supply closet for two hours. Maybe it's that he fired a lightning bolt at a bully on his first day of high school. Maybe it's that his best friend is a necromancer.
All of these could make your life a little bit more stranger than your peers', though the main reason is probably because his father is the god of lightning.

He starts feeling things he shouldn't and his past starts coming back to him. Filled with terror and rage he begins look to his work for the release he needs. Raven hasn't had a good life but it starts to change the day a new kid, Grim, shows up. Grim doesn't really talk to anyone he just stares, but soon he becomes irritable and Raven takes notice. When we were talking about our future jobs we all were waiting for Grim to speak, the answer he gave was terrifying. I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend. Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't the best of ideas but I don't regret it for one minute.
