Harmony came to the world of Equestria when the two sisters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, use their unicorn power to raise the sun at dawn and raise the moon during the night. But, before the existance of these two alicorns, harmony never powered Equestria. Instead, it was transferred via prisms from an ancient relic of the past, Spectropolis. Spectropolis is a magical city with the power to create harmony. Magical ponies used the rainbow as a symbol of friendship and harmony. Each and every color of the rainbow symbolizes different attributes to ponies that fall under the rainbow's colors. The city of Spectropolis remains a mystery as ponies can't confirm this theory. Spectropolis is and always will be a mystery one can imagine
