Set in a corrupted COVID filled world, a young woman will set out of her home to find a peaceful mythical world only known as the Light in honour of her friend. But by doing so, the son of a corrupt government official will do anything to hunt her down, one to impress his father and prove that he can lead the organisation that turned this world into nothing but hell and two, for the woman to face the consequences of leaving her home. As a result, she must fight and sacrifice everything to reach the Light, even if it costs her life.

Michael Sceptre and the Deathful Chess Games by simbamudonzvo

A fantasy book about a young boy who goes on an adventure to discover his purpose in life after the mysterious death of his father. The story is inspired by the game of chess, and if I could make a comparison, it reads as if "Harry Potter starts playing Chess while in the Hunger Games," because it is a young adult dystopian book series with Michael Sceptre, the main character, who in the first series, reluctantly takes up the game of chess, to compete at the 20th annual chess games. The book has an interesting twist on the Hunger Games concept using the game of chess, the games are brutal, hence the title "deathful chess games!" The book is a treat for chess players and enthusiast alike around the world. The book has been written by myself, and I am an avid chess player and I wrote the book as a way to help get more young people into chess. I am working on the next book due out for the summer, and will soon secure a film deal for the book series to bring the magic of chess to the masses! Enjoy the first few chapters of the book...

A young girl goes off to college unaware that the college she chose has a family with a curse on them, and she is the one who could break the curse, of course she also doesn't know she is a witch yet.

Autumn is living her best life at college until one day, she ISN'T. Duh duh duuuuuh.... anyways, a virus breaks out that transforms people into mindless catgirls (and catboys), and Autumn and her gang have to figure out how to save the world from it. Pretty epic, short adventure.

As four college students of different species and gangs, somehow ended up in the same dorm room. Each hiding their own secrets. And some splitting off, there's dangers, broken trust, and love. They find out about a wyvern on the loose and later that it's being sent to the school! They must work together and through disagreements to save the day.

A cynical teenage girl, tired of her mundane life, stumbles upon a hidden magical school where she discovers her own latent powers and must join forces with a quirky band of classmates to defeat an ancient evil threatening to engulf the ever realm and beyond. Eleanor must master her powers, forge alliances with her eccentric classmates, and confront her own inner demons to save the world from this ancient evil.

A group of college students finds a portal to an alternate universe where everything is magic! They learn about the alternate version of their college campus and begin to deal with rival magic gangs, shadow magic, dangerous creatures, and more, all while trying to keep up with studies in their own world and the magical one.
