Makoto Tachibana is a typical high school boy. He has lots of friends, makes good grades and participates in sports. However, Haruka Nanase, The new guy at school, is not so typical. He's a loner, doesn't care for school, and doesn't like "disgracefully organized" sports teams. When kind-hearted Makoto attempts to befriend the mysterious newcomer, he soon discovers a part of himself he didn't know existed.
