"You have until midnight to tell them.before I do." Farkle said to me.
*Midnight New years eve*
"5...4...3...2...1!" They all yelled, I headed towards the exit. "Riley still loves Lucas." I tense and freeze in my tracks as I hear Farkle say these words. I turn around "Happy New Years" I say then blow the party whistle. Lucas, and Maya look shocked. Farkle, and Smackle walk past me, followed by Zay, Charlie, and Auggie. Maya sits on the rooftop bench. I sit next to her. Lucas comes over. No words are said.
~Lucas P.O.V one day earlier~

"Riley I can't be your brother." "Really Frair!" Charlie says. "You ready for our date Riles." He tells me about the date. "No talking or hand holding perfect date." He brags. "Who goes on a date without talking?!" I say. I walk over to Maya. "Oh yeah we do."I say smiling at her.
