Here's the thing.

They never would have met if it wasn't for a murder and a bet.

16 year old Katelyn lives with her mom, her 4 protective, but younger, brothers, and her grandma, who's crazy, but the sweetest thing ever.

16 year old Travis lives with his mom and dad. They're both cops, and some of the best in the area. He only hopes to be like them one day.

After betting with his parents that he can be like them, he goes to the investigation of the murder of Katelyns grandma. This causes a rollercoaster of hate, love, and something only described as just plain crazy.
