Everyone always desires to have the look and beauty of a model, everyone strives to look like those on magazines. Everyone believes that having these beauty will give you a good life, a life with problems.
However, it's not the same with our girl lead; Aphrodite Wilson. Born with the desirable genes, you'd think she would have the time of her life and loved by everyone. But Aphrodite's desirable genes haunts her. Due to her beauty she has no one she can call a friend. Those who seem close to her will always end up hating her; jealousy.
Having a younger sister who won't speak to her because she will always be the 'ugly' sister and the boys she end up having a crush on will date her just to get close to her beautiful older sister.
However in her second year of secondary school, a transfer student from America named Vincent Maddox treated her differently from others; he was kind to her and he was the first friend she ever made. She trusted him until Aphrodite over hears Vincent talking to others. "I don't like her. I hang around with her because I pity her." Hearing this, Aphrodite trusted no one.
She never went back to school, and begged her mother to allow her to transfer into a different school; a girls school. Not wanting the same things to repeat in her new school, Aphrodite changed. She chopped off her long, luxurious brown hair. She changed the way she spoke. She changed the way she acted in order not to be hated once again.
Her change in character worked; she made a lot of new friends in her new school and happily passed the rest of Secondary school then again through college. But when it came to university, she met Vincent once again. Aphrodite worse nightmare came back to life along with her feelings for the first friend she "trusted".

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. His messy blonde hair is styled in a sexy looking quiff, you can see the muscles showing from his thin grey shirt and he looks to be quite tall, even though he's sitting down. It's only a second before I realised who it is, Jaydon Hamilton. I don't move my eyes away from him as I speak. "Hazel Williams." The whole class gasps.|| Hazel Williams has had a tough life, things went wrong when she was young. So she put on weight, dyed her hair and was bullied by pretty much everyone in her school. Especially one person in particular: Jaydon Hamilton. He's hot, smart, and popular. Everybody loves him and thinks he is a teenage form of God. So Hazel leaves, she lives with her mum to escape the nightmare she experienced everyday. Then she fixes herself. And she comes back, she shows all those people that gave her hell how much she's changed. But what happens when she becomes friends with three of the guys that were a big part of the plan to take her down. And what if one of them is Jaydon? Hazel is unsure, she knows she shouldn't trust these guys but they treat her as a real friend. Something she's never had before. But does she realise what she could be getting herself into? "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to.
