In an attempt to spy on Sparta, an Athenian girl named Amara is chosen amongst a wide range of others to join in training as a covert soldier. As training in beauty and womanhood was all she ever knew, this newfound freedom as a female struck her interest. Everything is so different when she meets a new friend...and a handsome soldier. But she will soon realize that this mysterious assignment is not at all what she hoped it would be.
