The year is 2034 and an unknown alien species has attacked our home planet Earth. Planning on taking it over easy, the soon find out that they have a fight on their hands when a man named Johnathan Kirks becomes the Sargent of an elite group of fighters called Halo. As we face the aliens, we immediately gave them the nickname Clickers from the click they make when we assume they communicate. One of them, a Sergeant from the local SWAT team by the name of Zuton Cruton, befriends one of the aliens, Zorra. She convinces the leader of their squad, Will, who is also the Deputy of the aliens, to ask to call off the attack. He aggrees, but his request is harshly denied and he and several other aliens defect to the humans side just in time for the invasion by the Ecarian Space Navy [ESN] of Earth... Quick description of the Ecarians: They have claw-like hands, pupil-less eyes of any color, and hair that can be any color and/or color combination.

The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization was built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.
