Even if Orochimaru turned 'good' and has been dead for many years now his legacy is still around. Daku, a boy without a last name stumbled over one of Orochimaru's very old almost forgotten hideouts. He found the knowledge there irreplaceable, and decided to continue the work of the genius he never knew.
Enter the next generation of shinobi. We follow Hanako Inuzuka, Jin Senju and Maiko Sarutobi in their journey to become real shinobi and fight for the peace their parents have had for so long.
Hanako is strong but unmotivated in most things.
Jin is a healer who doesn't like fighting.
Maiko is a hothead but she cares for her friends more than anything. 
They are just starting their journey.
But Daku has found an ally. The Land of Void. A large nation across the ocean due east and the homeland of Kaguya Otsutsuki. The land lost to time. Not only is Daku the first person they've had contact with in many centuries, they bare a grudge against the lands of the west for the death of their princess Kaguya.

He tells her that centuries had passed and they needed to figure out how to survive. That meant gathering food, water, find shelter and clothing. When she looks to see what he means by that, she freaks out and hides behind a tree until he gets her something to cover up with. His brain didn't fully grasp the problem that she was naked, but he found her something to cover up with. Six months later, Taiju wakes up and the Kingdom of Science begins the restoration of humanity together! That's where their story truly begins. {Mature for cursing, dark themes *cough* murder *cough*}
