Princess Flora Terrace is heir to the throne of Crescent, or what was once the United States of America. Since Flora is only 17 she still has another year until she is allowed to take her rightful place on the throne. That one year she has left will be her last year of high school at the elite Carlite High, for the rich and famous.

Carlite is the high school for all royalty, all the rich, the geniuses, and the children of all the most famous entertainers. Everyone who is anyone goes there. If you go there, you stay there during the school year, watched by top security and receive only the best schooling.

Flora has gone to Carlite since freshmen year of high school. There, she runs her country and keeps up with her schoolwork. While she is in her senior year, Flora has already taken all the college courses needed to receive an official degree in accounting, communications, and business.

As her coronation day nears, Flora's mother, Queen Evelyn, and her father, King William, insist on her having either a fiancé or a serious boyfriend to help her rule. Although just like everyone else, Flora wants to find true love rather than having a partner in business.

Luckily for Flora, she might just find true love in the most unexpected places.
