Everyone knows of Finnick Odair, the heart throb of District 4. He is loved by everyone and no one can deny he is extremely handsome. He is perfectly attractive and that is only one of the reasons why I don't trust him. Ma always told me that the prettiest are the poorest and to stay away unless I want to be let down. But when Finnick came home after winning the Games and defying the odds, he was changed. He was no longer the perfect guy I was determined to stay away from but a scared boy with a facade that is eating everything good inside of him. But how can I piece a broken boy together when I am about to face the worst thing possible: The Hunger Games.
Ps this is under editing and is not perfect at all, but I hope you enjoy none the less! Don't forget to read each chapter!

Finnick's Story • The Hunger Games | ✓
Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. It was impossible. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Many residents stood there in doubt, wondering how a boy so young could possibly bring home the victor's crown. There had never been a victor so young, after all. However, there is a first time for everything. __________________________ Excerpt: ❝25, 24, 23...❞ I can do this. I have the skills, the desire...I can win. It's possible. I know it's possible. The odds may be against me, against all of us, but one of us has to win. ❝15, 14, 13...❞ To everyone in District Four who is watching; to my mom, dad, and Annie Cresta, I'm making a promise to you. ❝7, 6, 5, 4...❞ Whatever happens here, I will fight like hell to come back home, ❝3, 2, 1...❞ I promise you. RAINFALL || Finnick Odair
-Finnick Odair X OC- Book One |Slow burn| Ever since Finnick Odair won the 65th Hunger Games at age 14, District Four has not only been praising him for his skill, but also themselves for preparing him so well. In order to showcase the District's talent and strength, they selected a young protege to volunteer for the 67th Hunger Games. Disclaimer- I don't own The Hunger Games or the characters in the books. Obviously they're owned by Suzanne Collins. I only own the characters I created and the arena I designed. I will not take credit for anything Suzanne Collins came up with and published because it's all hers. I just wanted to make all of that clear. I'm just a big fan of the series and the movies. Warning: This is the hunger games, so there will be killing and death.Abgeschlossen
