Teagan is in her senior year of high school and she can’t wait to graduate. She's lived in the same small ocean front town, Cutler, Maine since she was born and she's desperate to get out. During Heidi’s (Teagan's best friend) birthday party, Teagan is pushed off of a pier into the ocean and expects to die, but she doesn’t. Something, or someone, saves her. This someone's name is Caspian Lir, the powerful son of the Celtic Sea God, Lir. After he saves Teagan, Caspian follows her onto land, but his intentions are unclear. Teagan wants to teach him how the human world works and she develops feelings for him, but when Caspian's plans become clear, will Teagan stick with him? Or send him back to his underwater utopia?
