It is 2005 and, after a brief reunion as small children, our soulmates are thrown together once more, this time as teenage boys. Miles Kane hopes his band The Little Flames will bring him the fame he wants so badly. Alex Turner is the lead singer and lyricist of his band Arctic Monkeys, who are fast becoming one of the most talked about bands in the UK. The Little Flames get the chance to tour with Arctic Monkeys and Alex and Miles hit it off once more, quickly becoming close friends. When shy Alex finds himself a star, he becomes more and more dependent on Miles' support. While Miles finds Alex's adoration and faith in him a catalyst to fulfil his own dreams. The boys' feelings deepen. Alex is coming to terms with his sexuality and accepts he has fallen for Miles, but for Miles, accepting his bisexuality is difficult and it holds him back in accepting his feelings for Alex. Over the next four years, the boys establish a lasting relationship and create one of the best albums of the 00s. But as Alex's mental health starts to suffer due to the pressure of fame, and having to live a lie, he finds himself depending on Miles more, often holding Miles' career back, which threatens to break them up once and for all....could it be possible?
