James is a run-away with a forgotten past. Three years earlier, after being declared a ward of the state and taken into a foster home. He decides life with his new family has run its course and wishes nothing better than to pack up his things and leave and to never look back. Living in New York City has its advantages so out of curiosity he finds himself at the local gay bar. He may have fooled around during his time in the desert but no man has ever captured his attention more than the young run-away. After saving the boy's life, all he can think about his protecting him from the people who claim to have bought him.
