Violet is broken. No doubt about it, she has the scars and nightmares to prove it. She has learned to hide, hide herself, hide her pain, hide her past. What she forgot is that sometimes secrets don't want to stay kept. Louis is broken, too. It's pretty obvious, he has the terrible sleep habits and deserted house to prove it.
