Dark, it's dark too dark. My thoughts run wild as I lean against the shower tiles. The warm water runs down my bruised skin, giving me tingles as it flows past my cuts and scrapes before it washes down the drain. Keeping my eyes closed the entire time as I know if I open my eyes even for a second I'll regret it seeing the once clear water turn a faded red.
