Mariah Shures is a nice girl with a spitfire personality and a talent for bad luck. One normal day, she walked into Walmart for her usual once-every-two-weeks shopping trip. She turned into the feminine products aisle and slammed straight into a man she definitely wasn't forgetting anytime soon. He was dreamy. Doe-brown eyes. Slicked-back, almost-black hair. Perfect eyebrows. Lashes that should be illegal. A jawline carved by petty, vengeful angels. And those lips. Those full, pink, absolutely bite-able lips. God, she wanted to taste them. "Taste them? Pfft-more like swallow them." That was her brilliant internal contribution to the universe. Totally normal. Not unhinged at all. He was breathtaking-like a marble statue with working legs... and a gun barely concealed as he reached out a hand to help her up. "Ah hell. Not this again." Because yep-fun fact-Mariah's parents made a deal with a drug lord. In exchange for seven years of unlimited drugs and cleared debts, they offered... their only daughter. Parents of the century, truly. So she's been running. Literally running. And That Guy-the one from aisle five five seconds ago-yeah, he's still chasing her. Will she escape this lunatic? Or has her luck finally run out?
