The Ashwood family was known for being cruel. But no one knew that they would be as cruel as torturing their own daughter out of sanity at age three.
Ioana Ashwood was now living at St. Mungo's, after practically being tortured out of her mind. But Ioana was not totally insane after being treated for many years, but she still has those blasted voices living in her head. So it surprised everyone when Albus Dumbledore came to take Ioana to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Ioana did not know how she was going to make it through seven years of Hogwarts with everyone thinking she was completely out of her mind due to having the voices in her head, not to mention a certain boy with a scar is curious about her?
But since when are the voices in your head necessarily all that bad?

Yet, the process had not gone as planned. It was the soul from the diary that had returned, not the 20-odd year old that they had been expecting. This came with...complications. Tom Riddle was 16. If he found his mate, became a bit too attached (obsessed) , and started another feud, well all part of the process he supposed. There were other issues as well. With Remus Lupin, the werewolf, still teaching, and the favoritism amongst the students, they had some work to do, but it was nothing Tom couldn't handle.Complete
