That is if you forget about the chance to be born with powers and if you do happen to have powers, than you will be hunted and jailed for just existing. With music being the only thing reminding her how to smile, she comes up with an idea to bring her family together again. Start a band. See the story of a crazy girl named Sarah, and follow her through her journey of change, and overcoming it. This is the story of a girl with OCD, and her extreme love for music.

Junior year was going pretty well. I was having so much fun till the start of second semester. Now instead of this life I had planned for myself. I was sitting in a hospital room staring out a window, with who knows what kind of toxins being pumped into my body to save me. People walked out on me. People walked into my life. But this journal, this is the place where I lay everything on the line. This is the one place in my life where there is still privacy. ************COMPLETED********************

Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)
