Peyton has this extreme dislike for boys. She's what you'd call a 'man-hater'. You'd find her sitting on the cafeteria table with her only best friend, rolling her eyes as she listens to her sisters' rambling about their breakups, and not flattered by any - any! - guy.
This stubborn attitude of hers, of course, interests the school's biggest player. Blake - he's Peyton's worst nightmare.
