After being kicked out at eighteen and losing her first apartment, college becomes more than a new beginning, it becomes her only place to call home.

With no real plan beyond following her friends, she enters campus life searching for direction, belonging, and love. Between reconnecting with an old best friend, surviving a pandemic, experiencing first love and betrayal, and learning how dangerous loyalty can become, she slowly discovers that growing up is not about having everything figured out.

Loosely inspired by real events, *Pieces of Us* blends memory with possibility, imagining what life could have been if she had known then what she knows now. It is a story of friendship, heartbreak, survival, and learning to choose yourself before the world forces you to.
