"Oh? You guys are awake thank goodness." the random person said everyone was on guard and was about to pull out there weapon when they didn't feel it "I'm afraid weapons are not allowed here so as you're vision since magic is not true here."

I have been playing Genshin for 3 years now and one thing I noticed is that there aren't many Aether centric fanfics. Usually they are just shipping fanfics, not that I don't enjoy them. Also, it is known that Aether and Lumine have seen stars being born and die, and were said to have travelled a lot. As such, their performance in Teyvat is a bit lackluster. Even if their powers have been sealed their knowledge and memories are still there (don't know about the sibling part) and their bodies aren't that weak. Yet they manage to be defeated again and again. I like Aether as I chose him but his skill set in the game is not that great and he has great potential for power, Navia's story quest can show us that.
