Paul Cooper is a demigod. Precisely, he's the son of Apollo.

Paul goes to a camp for demigods: Camp H.O.O.P., or Heroes of Olympian Parentage. His best friends are Kate Bartholemew, daughter of Poseidon, and  Zach Clapton, son of Zeus. 
When a mysterious girl appears out of nowhere at camp, Paul and his friends are immediately connceted to a mission that will change their lives: the search for the Two Warring Sons of Olympus.
