Gnosis, a land in the midst of industrial revolution, where airships rule the skies and steam powers the home, a girl, Lucia Whiteley, is chossen to die. She will be transform into an automaton, the latest invention in the city. A robot capable of human thought and emotion.
Meanwhile when a series of gruesome murders start occuring across Ferhandam, the capital of Gnosis, a boy, Oliver Farwell, takes it upon himself to investigate. However when his father gifts him with a brand new automaton for his sixtenth birthday, things start going haywire.
