Princess Indah has just lost her parents to an unknown assassin and due to this mysterious person still on the loose the Jedi council have decided to place her under the protection of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the newest Padawan to be named a Jedi Knight after the loss of his master 3 months prior to where the story takes place. Princess Indah isn't pleased with the arrangement but soon learns that her Jedi protector doesn't really have any choice in being there to protect her. The two become close in the time spent in the palace on Chandrila, while Jedi Masters Shaak Ti and Ki-Adi-Mundi search for the assassin of Indah's parents, the former King and Queen of Chandrila.

Vader is NOT burned in this story.
