The day Gaia Elessedil was born she was named the future queen of Arborlon. Nobody knew why her grandfather chose her as his heir, but he said that she would change history.
When she was growing up she never had much freedom being the future queen, yet she was curious about the world around her. The reason for that was because as a child her grandfather told her stories about the Elven Races and about the old world.
She wanted to explore and learn new things but alas she had responsibilities and her people needed her. It wasn't a total loss because as she continued to grow her personality molded her to become a kind, noble princess.
Although, one day, her younger sister decides to run the gaunlet and Gaia supports her on this.
After Amberle wins strange things start to occur and as it turns out the Ellcrys is dying and only they can save it.
But things are never that easy, for the two princesses had to get to safehold with a rover girl and half-elf guy and as things progress she begins to have feelings for the half-elf.
Will she succumb to her desires and doom them all or give up the chance of love in order to save a world that might not be worth saving.

Everything gradually becomes entangled in a mess, and nothing follows the plot of the novel. She meets new characters and hidden characters of the novel, getting further closer to the truth she never knew. It's like another side of the story. Will she be able to save herself from the cruel death despite the plot being ruined, or will she die eventually? or a miracle will change everything?
