Nico is gifted Wings by Hades after a quest with Hazel and Clarisse. Solangelo ensues. The book's contents follow short to long oneshot-like short stories all in the same world. I don't write these in chronological order, I basically just play a game of 'fill the blanks'. Don't Fade Away: A Solangelo Fanfiction 2
Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Spoilers for basically every Percy Jackson book, including Tower of Nero. ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ death, homophobia, mental health issues that includes but not limited to PTSD and depression, heavy angst later on, brief harassment and brief physical violence (someone gets slapped once). Pease note that this is a work of fiction. Nothing in this story happened in real life, I created all events that take place in this other than what happens on June 26th, but even then it's bent to relate to this story and so that it's a tad bit original. Will Solace, son of Apollo [the sun god] often feels as if he is alone. He feels as though there is no one out there for him and everyone he knows secretly dislikes him. After one particularly rough day, Will decides that he can no longer take all of the hate and teasing that he goes through on a daily basis. Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades [god of the underworld] is a quiet boy that likes to keep to himself. After his sister passed away many years ago, his life has taken a dark turn, leaving Nico to only see the bad things in his life. Nico has very few friends, a half sister that he loves dearly, and a crush on one of his only friends. Wow, super sucky story description!! The fic is better than the description makes it sound by the way!

What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will? How can Nico and Will keep it together? Are they going to end up going their own separate ways? Or is somebody else going to try to control Will? (Dun dun duuuunnn) Unfortunately, I don't own any of these characters. If I did, that would be the best thing EVER, but I don't.
