Abby Lee Miller is a little sick and tired of the small town of Pittsburgh, dance competitions, ungrateful kids and crazy dance moms. So what does she decide to do? Go on a leave of absence… Indefinitely. But instead of just leaving and having her elite competition team do classes that half of them don’t even show up too, Abby decides she will hire a replacement teacher.
Hailey Darf is 24 and is one of the best young choreographers in the country. When she was asked to come in and be a replacement teacher for the famous Abby Lee Dance Company Competition Team, she was thrilled. Hailey is just as strong willed and stubborn as Abby and won’t back down to any of the moms or be intimidated by them. But when it comes to choosing favourites in the studio, Hailey isn’t as impressed with the Zieglers as Abby. The ones she can’t help but love are Brooke and Chloe... And let's just say neither Maddie nor Melissa like that very much.
