"Who do you think you are? You are just some nerd." He sneered at me, looking down at me like he already owned this place. I chuckled at his ignorance, "Honey, I'm the nerd who rules the school." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You know those cliché stories where it is either 'player and nerd', 'bad boy and nerd', 'bad girl and nerd', 'bad girl and bad boy' etc. What do all those have in common? Well, there's always a nerd that's weak and bullied. That's either the damsel in distress or she suddenly turns badass. But sorry to say, my story is completely different. People fear me, no one dares to bully me, even the cheerleaders and our school's star quarterback bow down to me. Oh you think I'm the 'bad girl'? Sorry, but I'm the nerd who rules the school. Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.

I am just a school girl. So I thought.... Come read the story how me and my friends go on a crazy adventure we never thought would be real. We are only kids though so we might not be as tough as an adult but still we make a pretty good team. Enjoy our adventure and don't forget to have a little faith in yourself. Ok, who added the pun? Kameran I will hurt you! Moral of the story is things that seem like they can't be real, are real.

I know that if they could, they would burn me alive' she chuckles as if it's something funny. And honestly every person is like that, everyone is selfish. Me too. Everyone will only try to please you when you have everything. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.

They were trouble. You could just tell by looking at them. They didn't talk to anybody, besides others in the group and people in our school spread stories about them all the time. They were intriguing and we all wanted to be apart of them. But of course, they weren't exactly open to letting others in. Overtime peoples wanting to be apart of them lessened or went away all together. But mine never did and I knew exactly why. It was her. The way she held herself and the mystery of what not only they held but what she held to. I figured it would just be an infatuation from afar. But oh how I was wrong.

They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing.
