It's nothing particularly insightful or revolutionary when it comes to how it could've been but I'm doing a "follow-up" and I swear it'll be so much better. I just needed to get this idea out of my head and on some paper - or in this case, a screen. Anyway, i really do hope you'll enjoy it.

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! AH BIG MONSTER!" You're welcome. Fun fact: I played the game in French, so I have ZERO HANDLE on how their dialog sounds in English. *Finger guns and skates off into the sunset* *This is a grammatically LAX fic. It started out with just wanting to write a cute little series of one-shots, but this story has become the light of my life. What I thought would get maybe 200 reads max has blossomed into 20,000. It came to a trainwreck of a stop last summer, but due to begging from multiple fans, I've agreed to write a sequel. This is the future of Percabeth, inspired by the user PercyAnnabeth20Owl and the fanfiction entitled Percy and Annabeth-Their Future. ~ I was contacted by PercyAnnabeth20Owl and we are now doing a collab, so unfortunately the sequel's release date is going to be postponed. I am hoping to have it up by early 2015, but due to the fact that I have a new sister, it may take longer than that. Thank you for all your time support to everyone who reads this story.
