I had to write this twice because Wattpad messed up. This description isn't as good as my first one.

Life is never easy, but then again it wasn't meant to be. I was a Freshman in college, excited for what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to be a lawyer. I had a dream to play in a symphony. I wanted to be a mother. Only, I had it all taken from me in the blink of an eye. Fate had other plans for me, it had many years back. If it weren't for my "father", I wouldn't be here right now...in the 1800s in England instead of the 21st in American. Fate decided that my life would end at a young age...multiple times. I was brought here, to the past, in hopes of keeping me safe and alive. Although, there are still things that I have to be wary of here. With danger always lurking around the corner, I'm glad that there are "people", if you can call them that, looking out for me...or, well, hovering is more like it. I have to question though; if my fate was for me to die in an accident, who's to say that I'll be any safer here, like my "father" said? Will I actually stay in this time period or will I have to go back home?Considering my birth. I guess only time will tell. Maybe, if I'm lucky, life here won't be so hectic; being bipolar will do that sometimes. Back home, everyone who knew me was accustomed to my personality. I could be the most sweet and lovable person that anyone would ever meet. Don't be fooled by my innocent side, though; I do have horns under my halo~

Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world. Finding it Ironic that dying was the catalyst to him realizing he had lived his life all wrong. Surprisingly though he found himself in a place that was unrecognizable. He could never have imagined that this was only the start of what he now sees as a second chance. A chance to keep a promise he made to someone dear, and a new promise to himself that he would become what that person needed most back then, A Hero.

My mum always used to tell me what it's like to see your mate for the first time. She used to say that at that moment, everything around you stopped, that nothing else mattered. And nothing else would matter. If it wasn't for the little girl clinging to my leg right now. That little girl that trusts me with her life, that beautiful little girl that made me hold on and not give up on life. That little girl, whose father is standing in front of me right now. He's my mate. The edges of his lips curve and he looks up and down as if checking me out. "Long time no see." Are the words that first come out of his mouth that break the silence. ~~~~~~~~~~ Lexie is an Alpha's daughter. She faces a hard few days and thinks a night at the club will help her get through this. A few drinks won't hurt, right? At least that's what she thinks. Yet that night will change everything sooner than she would ever imagine. When the next day, her pack gets attacked, everything is chaos. Her mother and father are killed and her world shatters. She's forced to run away and leave everyone that she still has left behind. She thinks she has no one... that's until she finds out about another heartbeat in her body. Raising a baby on your own is hard enough. After a few years she finally meets her mate though and it turns out she knows him after all. How will she confess that her mate is actually her daughter's father? What will happen now? We don't live in a fairy tale where every story has a happy ending though. Real world isn't that easy...if you can call a world full of mystical creatures very real.

Oh boy, here we go again. Blood. It's like that one toxic ex you can't stop thinking about-you know it's bad for you, but it's got this pull. It ruins everything. Kingdoms? Toast. Hunters? Totally off the deep end. People? Let's just say the phrase "hot mess" doesn't even scratch the surface. And me? I'm Narsus. Disgraced knight, professional brooder, part-time beast slayer, full-time existential crisis. Now I'm stuck in Yharnam. Imagine a city built by gothic architecture enthusiasts who really overestimated their candle budget. The place is drowning in fog, madness, claws, and the occasional giant axe-wielding beast who really doesn't appreciate personal space. Fun, right? And let's talk about me making promises-because that's going great. This little girl hands me a music box, looks me dead in the eyes, and asks me to find her parents. And me? Being the genius that I am, I said, "Sure, kid, I'll give it a shot." Idiot. Why not promise to knit a scarf for every werewolf in Yharnam while I'm at it? Oh, and Sapphire? She's got secrets. Big ones. You know, the kind that could either save the day or end it in a flaming dumpster fire. No pressure there. Meanwhile, I've got my own problems, like keeping the blood from whispering sweet, murderous nothings into my brain. Here's the thing: Yharnam doesn't do heroes. It chews them up and spits them out like last week's leftovers. And me? I'm not even in the running for "mediocre antihero of the month." But promises? Yeah, they're messy, dangerous, and pretty much guaranteed to get you killed. Still better than breaking them.
