Dani and Nick used to be best friends.
See, key word right there: used to be.
When Dani saves Nick’s life, she expects them to get even closer, if that was even possible. But instead, Nick turns his back on her.
After that, Nick becomes Dani’s custom-made bully.
But all of that was a very long time ago.
Now, Dani and Nick aren’t as strange to each other as everyone thinks.
They may be different, and they might hang around different crowds of people, but they share something special: a special bond.
But how special can that bond be when Nick still badmouthes her and teases her all the time, while she never says anything back?
