"A small town girl like you doesn't belong in a big city like this." He sneered in my ear. My breath hitched in my throat as I struggled to stay calm. "And you want to know why that is, princess?" I just stared at him, unsure of what to say.
He leaned in, his lips almost touching mine. "Because you think you know where your going, and then suddenly you're lost."
And with that he stalked back to his dorm, leaving me standing outside in the cold my back still against the brick wall. Then it hit me.
