Breathe

Everything changed after I tried to kill myself. I lost my privacy, my freedom. I lost friends, if I had any to begin with. My parents lost faith in me and they lost patience. My sibling lost their sense of normal, and their belief that their older sister was strong. Everyone I love lost a lot, all because of me. All because of him. But they didn't know who fault it truly was, and I wasn't going to tell them. I would never tell them.
But when a stranger comes to town and seems to take an interest in me, I promise myself that he is another person I wont tell. But how can I not when all he seems to be doing is coming around trying to protect me. Protect me from my family, from the monster that haunts me, and even myself. Someone has to protect me from myself , because I sure as hell can't. I can barely even breath.
