In the land of Hesternia, there are two types of people you will meet. 1) An over-confident faerie 2) A sassy witch with attachment issues. In Hesternia, there is also one rule you never bend. 1) Never help one not of your own race. When fae assassin Ariadne Wilde and extremely wanted fugitive Artemis break the law (more) in the worse way possible, their only chance of continued freedom (Or as much as you can get when you're sometimes tempted to turn yourself in just for the killer amount of cash), is to run five miles away, shout threatening curses across the chasm, and never look back. But when they carry the weight of world-threatening-information, can't seem to stop rescuing each other and each step leads straight towards gallons of blood, gore, cynical plans and each other, do they even have the choice to turn their backs on highly repetitive coincidence?

"This is a Dark World We Live in, There's No Denying That." Once upon a time, there was a kingdom buried in fluffy white snow, and surrounded by mystery. Its ruler was one not to reckon with. That was until young Aria decided to rise up to the challenge, to get to the bottom of this mystery. What's up with all the different ghosts that appear around the palace only at night? Why has a mysterious illness just so happened to appear out of nowhere? And what is the nefarious Twilight Princess really planning? The key to these secrets only lie in the hands of one. But is it really worth the risk? And in the end, who will make it out alive? Because, after all, life is no fairy tale. Or so they all thought.
