~Excerpt~
Cheza's lullaby stops. A loud creak from the gate is heard again. I look behind me, only to find Cheza fall and crumble to the ground, the gate shutting, as the light from her chest dims until it shuts off completely. 

The last thing I see before the gate shuts, is the wind blowing through Cheza's violet hair, the smile on her face and the tears falling. 
There's a pang in my heart when her scent of Lunar Flowers disappears completely.All Rights Reserved
