Maybe this is another love story.

But on the other hand, maybe not.

Infatuations, lusts, crushes, falling inlove can be tedious and heartbreaking, most importantly, temporary. Mia knows this; infatuations come and go but what is here to stay is her best friend Ava.

Having someone to count on, a shoulder to cry on may seem insignificant to some, but those who never encountered such luck wish for it desperately. Someone to call up at 3am, knowing they would answer no matter the reason, no matter how silly or serious the motive.

Mia cherishes every moment she spends with Ava, until one day, tragedy strikes. Ava; a sense of comfort to Mia, someone who she can spend ages with, someone who she can sit in a room with and share explicit silent yet not feel alone. Ava is someone who she can tell absolutely anything, someone who can listen to her babbling on about her deepest fears without judgment.

Someone who can lock away all of Mia's secrets, until one day, they all come spilling out.

Maybe this is another love story, just not in a romantic point of view.

This is a genuine love story along with the most painful heartbreak a person could experience, losing their most trustworthy companion, their one and only best friend.

-Summer teen romance- Isla Nova Dawson has always been the type of girl to hang out amongst big crowds of people. She prefers the company of a few people where she feels the most confident in. She thrives lost in the crowd, where she can confidently make jokes and laugh heartily at others that may not be that funny. There's no surprise why Isla has become some of the popular type at school- she loves being known by others. Julian Hayes isn't a loner. No- far from it- he has a group of friends he plays baseball with and surf during the summer. He has family that he is known to hang out with. He just tends to stay away from big crowd of people where he doesn't feel comfortable in. Isla and her friends find themself at this opportunity of a lifetime. Finishing off her Junior year of high school, her school offers resources to go on a trip with teenagers like her. Travel for Teens isn't a new concept but it is for the small town of South Carolina. At this opportunity, the group of people jump at the chance to get out and do something new which will no doubt be fun. It was supposed to be fun for Julian as well but after plans abruptly change and thousands of dollars that cannot go to waste, he finds himself alone at the trip. Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. The teens throw a big party at the house during the end of the trip. The small leads to a boring night at the end. The teens find themself playing little games to occupy time. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian. It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything. But will the kiss turn out to be nothing if life throws the pair together on many counts? Or will two strangers keep it that way?

He runs up behind you, picking you up and spinning you around. You laugh and blush the whole time. He finally sets you down and kisses your forehead. Sounds perfect doesn't it? That's what Abby has... with her bestfriend. He is always making her laugh and is always smiling. He is that guy at school that everyone loves, including Abby. If you see one of them, the other is sure to be inches away. They have gone through a lot together and have been bestfriends since they were little. She's in love, he's in love, but they're both Clueless. *** "Morning, beautiful," he winked. When he said that I couldn't help but blush. His arm was still around my waist and my hands were on his bare chest. I could feel sparks running throughout my whole body. I loved waking up like this. Even though he is my best friend and all, I'm happy I get this time where it feels like we're almost more then that.
