The Identity Session

This is not a typical Wattpad story. Beginning on July 5th, 2016 and continuing for a week, I'll post a poem, followed by writing prompts to The Identity Session. Respond to all or any of the prompts that inspire you from each day, either by in-line commenting or by writing your own story and tagging it #Identity. You can join whenever you want and participate for as many prompts as you want. I'm looking forward to writing together!

Writing - and poetry - helped me overcome "slut" shaming and sexual bullying, and a big part of how I did that was discovering and defining my own identity. With "The Identity Session: A Woman Naming Herself for Herself," I'm inviting the Wattpad community to take part in this process, too, wherever and whoever you are. The prompts are written with women in mind, but all genders are encouraged to participate.
