The year is 2100. The Witcheborne nation of Verterra, spans greater Europe and Africa, and has begun its invasion of eastern North America. Tensions run high in the United States; internally there's wide socio-economic division, poor healthcare, and high taxes -  not to mention a general human unease towards their well-hidden witchborne counterparts. The further Verterra progresses, the worse these anti-Witchborne sentiments become.
