"What if I say no?" Scott challenged, trying to hide the slight quiver of fear in his voice, his heart beating so loudly in his chest he was sure the hybrid could have heard it from a mile away.

When Klaus Mikaelson came to Beacon Hills, he did not expect to find an old friend, one of the very few he had, kidnapped to be sacrificed in a ritual. He did not expect to be caught in the middle of a fight between an Alpha Pack and an evil Emissary. And, most of all, he did not expect a certain puppy dog eyed werewolf to catch his eye.
