So many people ask this question and it is considered the biggest fault of the epic LOTR trilogy. I thought I should use this newfound information for good (unlike the ring) to shut you all up and answer life's biggest pondering. After all, if Tolkien applied so much thought and detail into his work, why wouldn't he address this as well?

Answering the Call
This is a series of AU vignettes in which each member of the Fellowship hears the call of the Ring -- and answers it. My take on the big What-If. Varying degrees of angst, drama, action, and perhaps a little more angst. This series won First Place in the MEFA Awards quite a few years ago now. This idea brewed in my brain for a long time before I finally got it out of my head and onto 'paper.' It would never have happened without my beta reader, Thundera Tiger, and I can't thank her enough. Without her guidance and encouragement, this story would never have seen the light of day, nor would I have considered posting any of my writing. Of Dwarves and Men {Boromir/LOTR}
"Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the lords my soul to keep See me safely through the night And wake me with the morning light" ...and though that morning light is but a ghost on the Eastern horizon, it is one onto which we cling. In this dark age of begotten Ringwraiths, rogue orcs, and Sauron's rise, it is a hope that we will live to see another day. But as direction goes, it is not so much a morning light, nor an Eastern one, but that of infinitesimal flames roving across the lands yet funneling in the Northeast. These are the flames of Phoenicians, cause of Sauron's original downfall and back for our final battle. This is a story of a return to light within the very heart of Gondor's son. The tragic death to counter Durin's, only withheld by a tear of heavenly descent. And though his ways are ones of great fault, he is yet to be the most deserving of all humanity...a true light in the darkness. Let us then begin the tale of dwarves and men. Avadis - A legolas story (slow moving!)
The eagles in LOTR don't have much of a purpose besides appearing and saving the day, so this book brings a new race to Middle Earth that has more involvement with them. And one of these characters might possibly come to meet a certain elf, who knows?

And Smaug reared and bled and in his anger spit fire at his attacker and Estateillio quickly jumped aside and drew her bow. The arrow would have hit his other eye had he not moved so much, but when she extended her hand, his head was jerked around as the dagger [...] was yanked from injured flesh and returned to its master's hand. In the Land of The Damned
In the wake of a seemingly End of the World global disaster phenomenon, cynical and upset with everything, Tobias sets out on a journey to find the wood of elves Tolkien wrote about in his series "The Lord of the Rings". I wrote this a couple years ago for this annual contest, which actually is just about to start again august 1st-31st, it's called The Owl Canyon Publishing Contest, you are given a beginning and ending paragraph and you are supposed to write 48 paragraphs in between to connect them, you cannot use dialogue and it HAS to be 48 paragraphs, no more, no less. This was my first time doing it and i had A LOT of fun, I really took those judgers for the contest for a whirl with the 48 paragraphs i wrote. And for the first time ever, YOU CAN TOO! The King's Heart (Thranduil Fanfiction)
Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.Terminé
The Desolation of Smaug (Editing)
Sequel to The Journey(A fanfic). (Desolation of Smaug fanfic. Please watch the movie first, for there are many SPOILERS.) Bre and company were saved by the Great Eagles. However, the Wargs are still after them. Their journey is now of pick and choose life-making decisions. However, it's not such a fast fate when it comes to romance. Bre still questions Thorin, as he does she, about Rivendell. A big piece of the puzzle just doesn't make sense yet. How can he fancy her but not trust her? And what of the other three Dwarves that fancy Bre? Bofur understands the whole situation, but do Fili and Kili? With Kili's obvious flirting, he probably doesn't care. Romance aside, one last, fate-deciding question stands: Is there a way for Bre to ever get back home? And if there is, will she take it?Terminé
