I've always been quiet (with the exception of when I was little and when I'm with family/close friends) and un-outgoing (if that's even a word) but that all changed in the summer before and during my junior year of high school. Before that, I basically did everything my best friend did except when we were with our families.

You might be asking what changed? My answer is that I went to a swim camp for two weeks while my best friend was in New York for three weeks...oh and I met a boy there who just so happened to be my mom's fiance's not blood-related nephew (his best friend's son) who is living with my mom's fiance for the next two years.

When I introduced him to my best friend she started falling for him. unfortunately for me having no experience in the romantic kind of love, I failed to realize that I also was falling for him too.

Just a heads up my updates are VERY slow because of school and stuff so please cope with me because I have great, I think, things planned for this book.

Her overbearing father won't even let her choose what instrument she plays. Then she finds herself alone at a party with Ren, her best friend's crush. She'd always thought he was rude, but after that night he's all Ella can think about. Now she's trapped. If Ella dates Ren, it will ruin her friendship with Jenny. But if she stays true to Jenny, she's losing the one person who can see past her scars. It's up to Ella to decide if she will forge her own path, or stay in the "perfect" box designed for her...
